Recreation Programs

WAM Productions is pleased to offer winter programming for your community. Through this program you can generate income for your recreation department with minimal effort and expense.

We will design fliers, manage enrollment and coordinate instructors. All programs are offered October thru April and run for 6 weeks

 

features

Classes Available:

Drama Troupe Juniors -1st -5th grade
Drama Troupe Seniors-6th -8th grade
Learn about the dramatic arts through theatre games, creative movement and simple vocalizations. Participation is necessary as their will be scripted individual and small group performances throughout the course.
Clowning Around 1st - 5th grade
Learn the secrets and history of clowning. From plate spinning, balloon animals, and juggling to costumes and make-up. Each student will be given their own clown pack to take home to entertain their family and friends.
Pop-up Art 3rd - 7th grade
Transform an ordinary sheet of paper into your own pop up book. Students can use templates, examples or their own ideas to create a 3D book. Let your creativity and imagination be your guide.

Budding Chefs - 3rd - 5th grade

Top Chefs - 6th - 8th grade

These hands-on classes allow students to master many exciting recipes, and expose them to new foods that encourage them to expand their palates. At the end of the course the students will have the recipes and ability to prepare a four course meal. All dishes will be prepared in class and cooked at home.
Guitar Basics 2nd - 5th grade
Guitar Basics 6th - 8th grade
Come and learn the basics of guitar. Hand positions, strumming technique and basic exercises followed by your first chords. At the end of the course you will be able to bring it all together to play some simple
 
Class Scheduling:
•  All classes run for a six week session
•  All classes are 1 hour
•  All class rates are per person per session
•  Recreation Department receives $25.00 for every student enrolled
•  All classes must meet 15 person minimum or 20 person maximum
•  WAM Productions reserves the right to cancel any class according to enrollment guidelines
WAM Responsibilities:
•  Site Check
•  Attendance at 1 meeting regarding program
•  Appropriate instructors
•  Registration in coordination with Rec. Dept.
•  Program management
•  Design of all promotional materials
•  Insurance
Recreation Department Responsibilities:
•  Appropriate locations and equipment
•  Printing costs incurred (fliers)
•  Distribution of fliers
